Cathy Pope brings a design-driven approach to jewellery, drawing from her background as a stylist in film and television and dressmaker. Her expertise in creating characters through clothing translated seamlessly into jewellery design, with a keen eye for form, shape, and personal expression.

The birth of Cathy Pope Jewellery in 2011 was an organic response to the existing jewellery market. Dissatisfied with options that were either overly expensive or mass-produced, she created a distinctive design - a bold stone on a substantial gold chain - that quickly attracted attention from friends and local retailers, and her iconic chunky choker necklace was born.
